The UK Tea & Infusions Association (UKTIA) works on behalf of the world's major tea producing and exporting countries, UK tea packers and allied UK companies who support the tea and herbal infusions supply chains.
The UKTIA provides support alongside technical, scientific and regulatory information. We've been working with the organisation to support its objectives online for over 20 years.
Our initial work involved merging four unrelated websites and domains into one asset (when the body was formerly called the UK Tea Council). Supporting PR and advertising campaigns, while using celebrity endorsement to drive traffic, the site became, and remains, the global reference portal for all things tea related.
We also supported the organisation with a range of activities including online competitions, newsletters, event booking engines, member and destination directories, and online advertising. Traffic peaked at around one million visits in a year.
Following a change of strategy, the newly named UKTIA asked for the site to evolve into a passive information portal. We also created a separate health professionals' microsite and a secure members' extranet portal that houses and disseminates a large archive of information to member companies.
For over two decades, we've helped the UKTIA deliver on its strategies by working in partnership with numerous stakeholders, using technology to reduce management costs, and maintaining a global reference portal.
